Google closes on long-expected sale of Kirkland Urban
Google now owns most of Kirkland Urban, the new, transformative mixed-use development in downtown Kirkland.
Google on Monday confirmed the purchase but did not disclose the price. King County had not yet posted the sales affidavit, which will list the price of the 12-acre development. The acquisition includes 400,000 square feet of office space plus the retail, including the QFC flagship store and the underground parking garage.
Sellers Talon Private Capital, Ryan Cos., and PGIM retained two development sites and a 185-unit apartment building, said Bill Pollard, a founding principal at Talon.
