Talon’s good fortune to acquire a development site located in the heart of South Lake Union and with near frontage on Lake Union waterfront, allowed us to design a truly innovative Class A office building. Featuring a rooftop garden, community gathering area, and tenant amenity space, all with 180° views of the Seattle City skyline and Lake Union, 701 Ninth quickly gathered tremendous user demand. Ultimately, prior to starting construction, one of the area’s premier health science research organizations acquired the site to develop the building exclusively for their use.
